Bread Descriptions and Ordering

Summer 2020 Order Form

The Summer CSB begins June 11h. Pick up will be at my home: 441 Juniper Street in Mahtomedi on Thursdays from 4 to 6 PM.

 ___  BREAKFAST BREADS ($28 for 1 mo., $54 for 2 mo.,$80 for 3 mo.)

  • Craisins & Walnut Levain – a traditional French sourdough chockful of craisins and walnuts

  • Oatmeal Bread - – this bread is half whole grain (oats and whole wheat); great for morning toast or as sandwich bread

  • Cinnamon Raisin Bread - a sweet dough filled with cinnamon and raisins

  • Baguettes (2 loaves) – begin breakfast with a baguette, butter and jam

 

___  WHOLE GRAIN BREADS (freshly milled heritage and local grains from Bakersfield in Mpls.)  ($28 for 1 mo., $54 for 2 mo.,$80 for 3 mo.)

  • Heritage Honey Loaf – a pan loaf made with Red Fife sifted flour and a touch of honey.

  • Country Wheat – a Farmers Market favorite; 100% high-extraction Minnesota flour, naturally leavened

  • Sunflower Flaxseed Sourdough – Toasted sunflower seeds and flaxseeds, add to the texture and flavor of this whole wheat sourdough bread

  • Miche - the traditional market bread. A 3-pound loaf divided in half featuring Red Fife and Emmer flour. Red Fife is an organic heritage red wheat which first came to this country from Scotland in 1842

 

___  Every Other Week Subscription 

Smaller households can benefit from the “Every Other Week” subscription plan which includes two loaves over the 4-week period.  ($16 for 1 mo., $30.50 for 2 mo.,$45 for 3 mo.)
